We were delighted to win the award for the Best Gastropub in Scotland at the Scottish Food Awards 2025 and recognised again as the Central Gastro pub of the Year 2024. A well deserved tribute to our talented chefs who work hard to create dishes using the best seasonal local produce. It’s not all steak pies and fish and chips!


Seafood is served when available and fresh.

Sunday roast supplied by our local butcher, is a feature during the colder seasons.


We always have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for our customers to choose and will always seek to meet any dietary requirements where we can.

THE BAR

Our Bar– Headed up by Inn and Operations Manager, Mike Lindsay.


Awarded as 2023/24 Contemporary Inn of the Year Scotland, at the Hotels of the Year Scotland. We have a huge selection of over 100 Scottish Malt Whisky offering a taste tour of Scotland from the Western Isles, to Orkney in the North, South to Speyside and everywhere in between. We also serve 30+ premium Scottish and worldwide gins, created in many of our most famous distilleries and a great selection of craft beers and wines to suit every palate.


We’re proud to be offering Scottish Brands from Tennents Caledonian and Drygate Brewery and Local Fyne Ales on Tap

You may notice a nod to our Italian cousins in the bar menus, offering alternative aperitives from Limoncello and Aperol to the classic Scottish liqueur’s Glayva and Drambuie, Quality Ports and Brandy feature on the after dinner drinks menus.


You can drop in for our great Organic and Fairtrade Hot drinks options and home baking mid service. Or one of our extensive soft drinks or one of 20 Alcohol Free options if you prefer. The bar offers a Gluten Free Tap beer, Vegan Certified and Organic Wines and our drinks are garnished with herbs from the garden and foraged berries whilst in season.
